Don't forget the 4 Ps:
1. People: check on the elderly, dress warm, and stay inside if possible
2. Pets: Don’t leave pets outside, bring them inside the house
3. Plants: Bring in potted pants, cover plants with fabric, a light blanket, or a sheet
4. Pipes: Insulate pipes and faucets outside, open cabinets under the cabinets inside the home, regularly flush toilets to keep the water moving through pipes, and use caution if you let your faucets drip
Please use caution when using space heaters and generators: never leave them unattended!
