Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to work while keeping your little ones close? We are seeking several Mommy's Helpers to join our welcoming and family-oriented environment!

What Makes This Role Special?

Responsibilities:
• Engaging and interacting with little ones.
• Assisting with feedings.
• Helping with nap times and basic childcare routines.
• Supporting basic household tasks as needed.

Current Shifts and local to the Stone Ridge, VA area
• Monday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Other shifts are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

ABOUT:

At Gentle Hands, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and reliable care for infants, toddlers and senior care. Our team is committed to ensuring the well-being and comfort of your loved ones, so you can have peace of mind.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gentle Hands, Infant and Senior Care, LLC, is currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated and experienced Nanny to provide exceptional care for child/children.

As a nanny, you will PLAY a critical role in the child’s development by engaging in various activities, fostering a nurturing environment and assisting in reaching important milestones.

A genuine love for children and a patient demeanor are necessary qualities. Additionally, the Nanny will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized space by keeping up with laundry, bedding, bottle cleaning, and ensuring the nursery is stocked with essential supplies. Basic meal preparation skills are required to assist with making nutritious baby food when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role
CPR certification and First Aid training preferred.
Clean background check and driving record
Engage in age-appropriate activities to stimulate the child's physical, emotional, and intellectual development
Must have or obtain liability insurance on your own
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Reliable transportation
Genuine passion for working with children and helping them thrive
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
Create a safe and nurturing environment for the child/children
Maintain a regular schedule for feeding, napping, and playtime
Assist with basic household tasks related to such as laundry, child meal preparation, and tidying up toys
Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
Follow any specific instructions provided by the parents regarding the child's care and routines
Ensure the child's safety at all times, both indoors and outdoors
Foster positive relationships with the child/children based on trust, respect, and compassion
