Culture shifts faster than most believe.

YHWH's word is eternal. A man covering multiple women has never been sin, and never will be sin.

Exodus 21:10: "if he takes to himself another woman, he may not reduce her food, clothing, or conjugal rights."

As long as young gun here takes care of them all and doesn't abandon one to take another, nothing to be ashamed of or condemned for. YHWH never condemned it, why would you listen to any man or woman who does?

[Mal 3:6 NASB95] 6 "For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

[Heb 13:8 NASB95] 8 Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday and today and forever.

[Deu 4:2 NASB95] 2 "You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

[Deu 12:32 NASB95] 32 "Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it.

[Eze 36:26-27 NASB95] 26 "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 "I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.

[Jhn 14:15 NASB95] 15 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."

[Rev 12:17 NASB95] 17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

[Mat 5:17-19 NASB95] 17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 "Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others [to do] the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches [them,] he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

[Mat 7:22-23 NASB95] 22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

Rest in the House

Come, eat within the house,
where the Shepherd leads His own,
where correction becomes mercy,
by grace return the wandering home.

Come and sit at His table,
where the din of the world grows still,
when the Shepherd gathers what is scattered
and sustains those who seek His will.

For He has taken what was sifting
and given it a place to remain.
He has staked what was drifting,
anchored its chaos to his Reign.

What once surged without direction
now rests beneath His care.
What once wandered without an anchor
has found its dwelling there.

And we who enter through the Covenant
are no longer left to drift.
We are held, connected, established,
marked as His, and called to live.

So eat in the house of peace.
Rest beneath the Shepherd's care.
Let every troubled current settle.
Let wandering hearts anchor there.

For there is peace at His table,
peace beneath His covering,
peace in the house He made stable
with the staff of His peace ahovering.

If you appeal to Matthew 19 to say that Christ was speaking against a man having more than one wife, because Adam was only given one, then you must reconcile the fact that in the same conversation, He said for some men, it *is in fact* good to be alone for the sake of the Kingdom, (without a woman) and for he who can accept this, let him accept it.

You cannot have it both ways. If you appeal to Adam's circumstances as the end-all-be-all on how many wives is "righteous", then all men must have one wife, and only one wife by your logic. But of course that cannot be because Christ explicitly said that isn't the case.

So that's your conundrum to wrestle with, when I read His words, in context, it's clear He was pointing to the beginning to teach that marriage is supposed to be permanent, and should not be flippantly destroyed.

He was not setting any kind of numerical standard or limit on how many women could be covered by all men, that would be adding to the commands (Deut 4:2, 12:32) and would be sin, and that would make Him a false prophet (Deut 13) and not the Messiah.

So please, stop claiming Christ said things that He did not say.

[Mat 15:24-28 NASB95] 24 But He answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." 25 But she came and [began] to bow down before Him, saying, "Lord, help me!" 26 And He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." 27 But she said, "Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." 28 Then Jesus said to her, "O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish." And her daughter was healed at once.
