Sign up your little one for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program! Just download the Reader Zone App from your app store and use code 98b57 to sign up! Children can earn a book each time they reach a milestone! Reading to children daily promotes early literacy skills, encourages parent/child bonding, and prepares children for school! If you have questions, talk to Librarian Paige!

Team Dog has pulled sightly ahead of Team Shoe! This is still a tight race. Bookopoly runs through the end of the December so there is still plenty of time to join in the fun! Pick up a gameboard in the library or on our website: www.alcesterlibrary.com/bookopoly

Saturday Story Times will start again 3 week from today on Saturday, September 12th at 10am. During the school year we meet the 1st Saturday of each month unless there is a conflict. Story Time is designed for ages 3-5 year old, but younger and older kids are welcome! Story Time is full of good stories, fun activities, and new friends! I hope you and your littles can join us for Story Time this school year!

Wednesday, August 26th at 1:30pm come to the Early Out, Hang Out! If you don't want to go home, find something fun to do at the library like board games, wii, computers, tablets, legos, the craft cart, reading, or just hanging out with your friends! As a reminder kids 10 & under need an older sibling/adult/caretaker with them unless you make arrangement with Librarian Paige.
