Sandia the ET

Meet our Zuni friend Lightning Man, who is the son of Clifford Mahooty who passed away a couple of years ago. Lightning Man has taken up his father's spiritual baton and has been learning and improving his own skills and is now starting to speak at conferences and do interviews. We have several of LIghtning Man's carvings, including two alabaster Sasquatch which we cherish. - Su

Here are all of the Elemental Horses series:

The Black Stallion is earth.
Windy represents air.
Fire Horse is self explanatory.
White Water Stallion is happily galloping through the water's edge.

I have a lot of fun doing things in groups and drawing these horses was a delight.

Each of these is portraits are done on high quality Pastelmat paper and are 12" x 15.75" mounted on a quality backerbaord. I used a combination of soft pastels and Stabillo-Carbothello pastel pencils.

Nearly finished with this black and white portrait. I call it simply Curled Ram's Horn.

It goes well with my growing collection of dramatic black and white animal portraits.

Hi Everybody, sorry to be quiet for a while. Health issues here at our house are to blame. I've still been working as much as I can behind the scenes. I've also begun a new art gallery and spent today uploading images. As soon as it's done I'll let you know.

It's been a while since I did a little Sasquatch kid portrait, but I came up with a new idea and sketched it out. I need to add a bit more detail, but wanted to ask you all a question.

What should this portrait be called?

I love drawing Sasquatch kids, they are SO like our own!

This little 4 month old was precious.

I honestly don't think he could get that thumb any farther in his mouth if he tried.

Every time I look at him, I grin.

He's up on my art altar now awaiting any last corrections.
