This is a composite photo that i created just for fun. I captured the picture of the wooded background near Aspen, NM. After editing the photo, I decided that since elk inhabitants of the area it would be cool to add an elk to the photo. So using Photoshop's new Ai capabilities, I added the elk and am pleased with the result.

Here is a question worth sitting with: what do you actually see when you walk into your own home?

Not what is there, but what do you still notice? What draws your eye?

What have you stopped seeing because it has been there so long?

"Arid Beauty" and the online art gallery is here, if you need to switch things up.

David J Hood Dsc 2889

A striking hot air balloon ascends against a clear blue sky, its bold black canvas emblazoned with a fierce eagle and a poignant message: “YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN.” Symbolic barbed wire encircles the imagery, evoking themes of remembrance and sacrifice. The vibrant design not only serves as a tribute but also ignites a sense of pride. This piece would serve as a meaningful focal point, enriching any space with its powerful narrative.
