10-Week Cultural Exploration and Spanish Language Summer Camp Passport to Summer!
by CIS PTA will take your child on an exciting cultural journey around the world! Each week campers will explore new parts of the world through music, art, science, games, sports, cooking, and lots of creative imagination-inspiring activities. Campers will also have fun working in the garden and with animals, and practicing Spanish, math and reading to stay sharp throughout summer!
Hello everyone! We are looking for guest speakers from, in or who have been to South Korea next week July 11-15. We could also use help learning our Korean key phrases this week!
We are looking for someone we can talk to who is in, from, or spent time in Egypt. Do you know anyone??

These chicks are nearly full size chickens now! They're certainly outgrowing this backyard and are ready to come to the school. If your family is available to help get our chicken coop area ready to welcome this flock, we would really appreciate the help!

LOL! It's true, kids are so hungry in the summertime. They start asking for snack as soon as they arrive, and ask when lunch is as soon as they finish their snacks!
Our eating times are:
10:00am Snack
12:30 Lunch
3:45 Snack
Make sure to send your kiddos with a full belly in the morning and full lunchbox for throughout the day.

This week campers have been learning about Norway, Sweden and Denmark. One of the most popular sports in these countries is Ice Hockey.
Did you know...
The fastest puck speed ever recorded in an ice hockey event was 110.3 miles per hour? The slap shot by Russia's Denis Kulyash came at the CHL All-Star Skills Competition on Feb. 5, 2011.

Practicing Yoga for camp! Did you know we'll have yoga available every day to campers?? We've got some fun sounds to help them remember the pose names :)
What an INCREDIBLE group of young people we have working at camp this year. Artists, photographers, athletes, musicians, athletes, gifted speakers, dancers, philanthropists, honor students, world travelers.... all of them are so excited to meet your kids and start camp next week!
