I'm excited to update everyone and let you know that my first students who are learning to read online with me are doing wonderfully and it is going really well! I'm currently teaching a 4 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. They are learning quickly and we have lots of fun together! I teach children to read and/or teach parents to teach their children to read. I've been teaching children to read 15+ years. I have a BA in Education.
Children tend to be much more successful in school and life if they start off feeling successful and confident. When a child starts Kindergarten already reading, they spend that first year enjoying learning and excited to explore, rather than struggling to keep up and feeling overwhelmed and possibly even stupid. Our family started another new chapter in our lives. We moved to Warrensburg, Missouri and my husband is stationed at Whiteman AFB. We are excited to live here and we already love the beautiful nature and animals all around us! I'm starting Little Literates again and I would love to hear from you!

Hello! Our family is back in America after 3 years overseas and I'm starting up Little Literates again. We now live near Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California, in California City. I'm excited to teach children to read again! (I taught English overseas and loved that too!) So if you would like your preschooler to learn to read, please message me. I teach group classes and do one-on-one teaching. Once your child completes my course, he/she will read at a 2nd grade reading level! It is so exciting!
Our favorite things at Little Literates:
- Hugs, smiles, high-fives, and
- Hearing from a mom that her child was just tested again at school and, to the teacher's amazement, will now be able to move up at the end of the school year, something the school didn't think would happen.
- Seeing and hearing the joy in a child who, for the first time, no longer believes he's stupid, but believes he can learn and succeed.

Today was an awesome day for Little Literates because one of my students, we will call him "S," completed all 100 reading lessons and graduated! WOW!!! Great work "S!" It feels great for all of us to see such wonderful success! His mom even told me that the school he attends is moving him up to Kindergarten (from pre-school) because he is reading so well. He is only 4 years old! Awesome!
