Happy Montgofier Day!

The news of Queen Elizabeth’s death was received with great sadness by us at Cameron Balloons as it was by the entire country. We are grateful for her years of service as a constitutional monarch and the stability that she has given.

We remember with pleasure Her Majesty's visit, accompanied by Prince Philip, to the Cameron Balloons factory in Bristol on the occasion of the first successful round-the-world balloon flight in 1999. We also remember the presence of Prince Philip celebrating the Gordon Bennett race from Bristol in 2010.

Our thoughts are with the Royal family and we extend our good wishes to our new King Charles III.

The Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett starts today!

The 65th World Long Distance Gas Balloon Championship is taking place in Switzerland and we have Poland 2 using one of our “unique” balloons in the race. This is ballooning at its most extreme, with the goal of flying the furthest non-stop distance from the launch site.
