At Rosencroit, students learn the four aspects of the English language (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), while also enhancing their knowledge of public speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, note-taking, and American culture. Rosencroit is owned and operated by Bre Stephens, an established and professional ESL/EFL teacher who believes in thoroughly preparing her students for a lifetime of success. The Rosencroit Academy was made public in May 2013, with its first quarter beginning in June.

In English pronunciation, double letters are important because they tell us if the preceding vowel is SHORT. For instance, the A in "latter" is short because of the two T's. If we take one of the T's out, the word becomes "later," which is pronounced with a long-A.

My favorite area of teaching is pronunciation. One of the most interesting and significant facts is about the SILENT-E, as in words "Tate", "bake", and "like". My students are always baffled by why English has the unimportant silent-E at the end of words. They are amazed to hear its importance!
