Summer 2026 Recap | Science Fair

Student experiments in full swing! 🔬

Our Summer Institute students proudly presented projects that reflected their creativity, research, and critical thinking. Their hard work and dedication were on full display during this year’s Science Fair.

We’re so proud of each student’s accomplishments! They all worked really hard on every project they had.

Week 4 of our Upward Bound Summer Institute was one for the books! 🩶🩶

From financial literacy, science, art, yoga, and STEM/robotics to Power & Purpose, Learning with Board games and AI Essentials, our students continued challenging themselves, presenting AI projects, creating vision boards, launching rockets, creating their own board games, and programming robots. Their growth, curiosity, and confidence have been truly incredible to watch. 🥲🙌🏽

A huge thank you to Michael Nowak of AI Essentials LLC for traveling from Chicago to Albuquerque to share his expertise on AI and inspire our students with an engaging presentation and generous gift card giveaways. 🫶🏽

It’s hard to believe we only have one week left, but we’re so proud of everything our students have accomplished in such a short time. Here’s to finishing strong! 💪🏽

Week 3 of our Summer Institute was full of creativity, learning, and giving back! 🥲🙏🏽

Our students wrapped up their paper mâché projects, started making coasters, continued practicing yoga and movement, and built on the essential skills they’re learning in their core classes. They also explored the world of robotics by learning about quadruped robots, prepared for our upcoming summer excursion during orientation, and finished the week volunteering at Mile High Little League 💙⚾.

It was a busy and productive week, and we’re so proud of all our students have accomplished! 🩶
