EPICS is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit community parent resource center for families who live in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado who have American Indian children with disabilities and/or special healthcare needs from birth to age 26 years old. Training - Our FREE community parent workshops cover a variety of topics such as IDEA Overview, IEP & IFSP process, Transition, Record-Keeping, Advocacy a

nd Parent Leadership and Support. Advocacy - We provide one-on-one consultations on IEP and IFSP's to help parents understand content and processes and if time permits, we can attend an IEP or IFSP meeting at the parent's request. Information and Resources - We partner with local, tribal, statewide and national organziations to ensure that families have access to up-to-date and relevant information to help them to make informed decisions.
