In Alburquerque, we are blessed with many fantastic days of sunshine, but do you remember the last time you were able to fly in the rain?? ☔️
Flying VFR in the rain can help improve your pilot skills. Rain can limit visibility, requiring more precise control and navigation. Flying in less-than-ideal conditions helps you become more comfortable in different environments, build confidence, improve situational awareness, and reinforce the importance of a solid instrument scan. It also gives you a small taste of what instrument flying might be like. ✈️💧🌧️
*if you aren’t comfortable flying in limited visibility VFR conditions; please make sure to talk with an instructor first. Or give us a call to schedule a simulator session!
