HELP ALPHA GAMMA END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!
Taking Strides To End Domestic Violence is an event that will be taking place on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 that will be on Johnson Field. Registration begins at 10:30am and the main event beginning at 11am. Participants will be walking a mile, which is two laps around Johnson field, to create awareness of Domestic Violence, and allow the men to literally and figuratively take a walk in women’s shoes to gain cognizance of what many women must go through during the course of their life.
Alpha Chi Omega and LoboRespect are teaming up to put this event on. Taking Strides To End Domestic Violence is an event that is charging a $5 registration fee. The money that is raised will benefit the Women’s Housing Coalition here in Albuquerque. It is asked for the participants to supply their own women’s shoes, and come ready to hear an amazing speaker.
