Ask your student if they tasted Fava Beans grown locally at Chispas Farm in the cafeteria! Fava beans come from large, leathery pods. They have a creamy, nutty, and slightly sweet taste. Young fava beans can be eaten raw in their shells, but usually they are removed and cooked. They are a good source of vegetarian protein. The Student Success and Wellness Bureau has launched the Summer EBT (SUN Bucks) program webpage AND application! 🙌

🌟 Eligible families can receive $120 per child to help with food this summer!

✅ Automatically Enrolled
If your child is already part of:
🔹 SNAP
🔹 TANF
🔹 Certain Medicaid categories
🔹 Homeless/Runaway, Foster, or Migrant programs
…you’re already in! No need to apply! 🙌

📝 Who Needs to Apply?
If your student attends a school that offers the National School Lunch Program (including Community Eligibility Program schools) but doesn't qualify automatically — you can still apply!
