In celebration of Earth Day, the Lobo Chemistry Club is holding a contest to see who can re-use takeout containers in the most creative and eco-friendly way.

The winners will get a cash prize of $100 and a food bank donation made in their name!

It’s also a great way for us to support our local restaurants!

The deadline has been extended to May 13th!

To enter:

1) Post a picture of your repurposed takeout container with a brief description of how it’s used
2)Tag our FB page or @ us on Instagram ()
3)Tag the restaurant your container is from
4)Use the hashtag

Remember there is a Lobo Chemistry Club meeting TODAY in Clark 214A at 12:00pm. For those who RSVP'd there will be pizza! We will be electing a new vice president, deciding on T-shirts and discussing future semester activities! Looking forward to see you all there!

Our wonderful treasurer Katie has offered her house up for a potluck for this years opening social, which will be on September 16 at 6:30pm. There will be a fire pit, board games, movies and much more! I have attached a doodle poll to this email for people who want to attend to RSVP. It is a potluck so please plan to bring some type of snack to share with people! As I said previously we will be giving more information at the meeting this Friday.
