Albuquerque Preschool Co-op Albuquerque Preschool Cooperative is Albuquerque’s first parent-involved cooperative preschool. We hold a five-star license from the State of New Mexico.

Founded in 1965, we have been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since 1995. We use The Creative Curriculum in our programs. This play-based curriculum supports our philosophy, which is that children grow and learn best in an unhurried, non-stressful environment where peers, teachers, and family all play an important role. Our program strives for div

Staff
At a minimum, all members of our staff hold Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials. Our teachers and administrators have many years of experience in early childhood education. Our teachers have over 30 years of combined experience with our preschool. Our teachers and administrators all participate in ongoing professional development. Executive Director: Yvette Asenap

Two-Year-Old Program
Our Two-Year-Old Program provides a nurturing, stimulating, and fun environment with well-chosen equipment and materials. We offer a 1:4 adult-to-child ratio. This program goes from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Your child can attend Tuesday/Thursday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, or Monday through Friday. Children must be age two by August 31 of the school year they wish to begin at APSC. They do not need to be toilet trained. Three-to-Five-Year-Old Program
Our Three- to Five-Year-Old Program is designed to meet the social and educational needs of three-, four-, and five-year-olds. The children participate in a balance of self-selected and teacher-directed activities. We offer a 1:5 adult-to-child ratio. to 12:00 p.m., 12:30 to 4:00 p.m., or 8:30 to 4:00 p.m. Children must be age three by August 31st as of the school year they wish to begin this program at APSC.
