Layer up for Spring Weather 🌸☀️
With spring in full swing, our NM days are bringing a mix of cool mornings and warm afternoons and everything in between!
Dressing your child in layers can help them stay comfortable as temperatures change throughout the day.
Plus, remember to use sunscreen to protect your child's skin in the warmer weather when they tend to be outside more. 🧴🌞

What does discipline look like in the world of Montessori?
Montessori discipline focuses on building self-discipline from within rather than using rewards or punishments.
By guiding children with respect and clear boundaries, they learn responsibility, empathy, and independence. 💛
✨ Key Principles
🩵Respect for the child – Listen, guide, and respond with empathy
🩵Natural consequences – Let real-life outcomes be the teacher
🩵 Freedom within limits – Offer choices within clear boundaries
How can you implement at home? Try:
🧡Redirect instead of saying “no”
🧡 Model calm, respectful behavior
🧡Give children age-appropriate responsibilities
🧡 Practice active listening 👂

🌟 From Student to Leader: Former Student Gives Back🌟
We were thrilled to welcome a former student, Davan, back to campus this week to complete his Eagle Scout service project. His project refreshed part of our playground by relocating soil near the garden beds, adding fresh wood chips, placing a boulder for climbing, and installing charming touches like tin birds, a wind chime, and a turtle statue for children to sit on or explore.
The area looks amazing and our children have been enjoying the updated playground!
We are so proud to see one of our former students give back to the community where he grew up. 🐢🌿✨
Thank you, Davan!
