New Mexico is one of the states leading the nation in efforts but it has not been without challenges - supply, technology issues, etc. However for some New Mexicans, the challenge goes beyond accessing the vaccine sign-up portal online. For the state's immigrant population, much of the hesitancy surrounding the vaccine comes from fears that immigration status may be questioned or their public benefits may be jeopardized.

Across the country, minority communities have been disproportionately affected by COVD-19. Our latest report with Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors - National looks specifically at the devastating impact its had on Latino Families.
Our report offers policy recommendations across six key areas: health, education, economics, social justice, and family; the areas with the most promise for helping Latino families in need.

With record turnout in the and major decisions being decided by single districts and counties, there is a growing interest from the public to be involved with the political process as the conversation turns to redistricting.
Our latest survey with Latino Decisions shows that New Mexicans not only want more transparency and public involvement but greater competiveness from districts when it comes to redistricting.
