It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Center. Many friends of NMASBHC also will have been friends of Ruth. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. For the school health field, she was a passionate advocate and leader. She was a smart and fun colleague, a caretaker of students, and a dedicated NMASBHC Board member and Advocacy Committee Chair.

The staff and Board of NMASBHC extend our sincerest condolences to all those who knew and loved Ruth.

The June cover page of the NMASBHC Calendar happens to feature the Santa Fe HS Teen Health Clinic, sponsored by Presbyterian Medical Services.

We mourn Ruth's loss, but we celebrate the unending legacy that she leaves behind.
