We will be offering 2 Summer classes this year, 2022. A 2-week in-person class in June from June 13 - June 24, 2022.

This online course will provide information on the history, traditions, rituals, herbs, and remedies of Curanderismo, a folk healing tradition of the Southwestern United States, Latin America, and Mexico, amongst other countries. A 3-week online class in July from July 12 - July 29, 2022. Instructors: Dr. Eliseo "Cheo" Torres and PhD Candidate Mario del Angel Guevara, Albuquerque

Join us at the 2026 Fiesta de Salud Traditional Health Fair at the University of New Mexico Main Campus.
- Where: Grassy area next to Anthropology Bldg. 163 next to University Blvd at the UNM Main Campus.
- When: Wednesday, June 10th from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- How much: At no cost, donations are accepted given directly to healers, providers, practicioners.
- Who: Open to all community members. No need to register for the Curanderismo Class/Conference to attend the Fiesta de Salud.

Registration for treatments is on site in person.

Sponsored by the UNM's Women's Resource Center, Curanderos without Borders: Heal to Live, Live to Heal, and the UNM's Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies.
