Yip man 1893 -1972
I find this amazing and how so many Wing Chun people are so disconnected of the history of Yip Man not Eye P*e man Donnie Yen who is now owned and operated by CCP there version of Hollywood.
1899-1901 boxer rebellion. The Yip family delt will the western occupation and control. It took a toll on them. It was a start of the brokenness. It was very catastrophic in China. And took a toll to the people. The western world is not kind it's not about freedom as it's portrayed. Its about control. Not freedom. It's what is used. Even to this day.
Japanese occupation 1937-45 Beijing to Nanking was horrible. Yip man again oppressed and distraught. China is torn apart. People are being killed in groves. I'm sure he felt the he wasn't going to make it. There are many very well written accounts of what the Japanese did and the horrors of the occupation to the Chinese. It ends in 1945 too a point. But it also opens a door to a more difficult problem and down fall for China and it's people.
The fall of China starts in 1911 with the PRC. But is completed in 1949. And it's leader Mao creates it's over throw in the communist state. PRC.
Yip man leaves to create a place for his family to stay in Hong Kong. But as he returns tried to get them the iron Curtain is drawn . Not he is locked out. Family separated. Her and the boys in the communist Mao China. Him in the British colony Hong Kong. The biggest question is his emotional state? What was Yip Man running from? The communist,Mao PRC. Not the Japanese as the movie portrayed. It's obvious. Mao was very Destructive on his own people with Control war and death. And there is so much more to this story and Yip Man's life that is never talked about. And what portrayed is general and surface.
Donnie Yen. His mom comes out of the CCP wushu Cultural revolution 1966-1976 the motto. To get rid of the old and bring in the new. Real kung-fu teachers were treated very bad and imprisoned. She rears her son Donnie Yen. In China too Boston. And teaches.
IP MAN movie. Donnie Yen. Portraits Yip Man. 98% fictional what was he running from? Death and destruction war and communism. It's why he Yip Man. Not Eye P*e man which is a fictional story and character. Donnie Yen,Jackie Chan and so many others are of the Chinese Communist party. There version of Hollywood. The movie doesn't come out and say that Yip Man fleeing the communist party Mao's PRC... or points it out. Because the story is modified and not to point out he fleeing the communist state. And Donnie Yen is now apart of the thing that Yip man is running from.
I find it baffling how Wing Chun people have no clue of there history and oppression of Yip Man and other teachers that fleeing for there lives. But the CCP is rewriting the history. And I know this what I wrote is historical fact. It Will p**s people off. Do I care? No. Is Donnie Yen IP man or EyeP*eman. No not even close. The movie's value is the 99 cent bin at Wal-Mart. To be thrown Away. It's really a disgrace too a man that tried to live properly and was dumped on by country's that kept people oppressed . And his mother that came out of the cultural revolution of Mao's reconditioning communist identity and recreation of kung-fu into wushu. The motto.. get rid of the old and bring in the new. Or else you will be reformed.
Keep this in mind. The movie focuses on the Japanese occupation. It makes no mention of Mao's PRC over throw and the real reason why Yip Man ran from the communist. The eye p*e man (Donnie Yen owned by CCP)version is pure bu****it and CCP influence. But people love riding coat tails and rewrite history. This is a good example of that.
