Field Day ended yesterday with a staff vs. 8th grade dodgeball game. The 8th graders wrote letters begging to challenge the teachers to a dodgeball game, and their wish was granted. A great time was had by all, but the teachers were victorious in the end.

Yesterday, our superintendent, Mrs. Illerbrun, and our assistant superintendent, Dr. Peters, visited our school to attend the kindergarteners' fifth annual Authors' Tea. Our kindergarteners walked down the red carpet as they celebrated how they wrote, illustrated, and published a book, "If I Had A Pet Dragon". We are so proud of their hard work and are grateful so many parents and other family members were able to attend and celebrate their accomplishment.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing moms at OLA! Whether you are a staff member, a parent, a parishioner, or just a supporter of our school, we hope you have a blessed and relaxing day. Today we are highlighting the kindergarten class' annual "Forts with Families" tradition. It was great having so many families join us to spend time reading books, building Forts and eating s'mores.
