Congratulations to Mrs. Vigil, our former kindergarten teacher, now middle school religion teacher, for being chosen for this year's Teacher of the Year Award. We congratulate her and all of the other winners chosen by The Catholic Foundation this year.

In honor of the feast of the Assumption, our Catholic Identity Team led us in a profession of Our Lady while we prayed the Novena for the Feast of the Assumption. When we finished, our students were gifted cupcakes to celebrate our feast day.

Because the feast of the Assumption falls on a Saturday this year, our school chose to celebrate the occasion today. Our middle schoolers discussed what the Assumption was, prayed a decade of the rosary (the fourth Glorious Mystery, the Assumption of Mary), had a cloud relay where students built a cloud and assumed Mary into Heaven, and ended by eating Our Lady of the Assumption Jell-O cloud parfaits.

Today we celebrated our first school Mass of the 2026-2027 school year. Our eighth graders did an excellent job. A huge thanks to all of the families who were able to join us for Mass.
