REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

The Arizona English Teachers Association, your state affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English, is excited to have Kelly Gallagher, a veteran teacher and researcher and leading voice in literacy education, as our keynote speaker for the 2021 AETA Conference. Kelly’s research into the teaching of reading and how to make reading energizing and exciting for our students, along with the events of 2020 and 2021, inspired this year’s conference theme: Forging a New Path. His work centers students’ love for literacy and how to grow that, encouraging all of us to engage in practices that energize our students and build their love for literacy. We hope you’ll join us in learning with him at this year’s conference!

In addition to our keynote speaker, we also have numerous educators leading panels, presentations, and workshops to support and inspire Arizona teachers.

Tickets are $50.00 and include conference registration *and* AETA membership.

This year, we will have local AZ food trucks on site for lunch. The first 50 registrants will also receive a $10 voucher to use at the food trucks! 🚐😋 (So don’t wait to sign up!)

Keep your eyes open for more details over the coming month, including session teasers and more, and follow us on social media and our website to stay updated!
