Come join this collaborative team of Disciplinary Literacy Coaches, which includes former educators with experience teaching across a wide range of grade levels and content areas, as well as former instructional coaches and administrators.

Today, IAIE hosted the 9th Annual Summit which focused on updates to Yazzie/Martinez lawsuit. Community feedback was also gathered to help shape efforts to inform and evaluate the remedial plan.

Native American Teacher Preparation Program (NATPP) students & staff are at the Stabilizing Indigenous Languages Symposium and American Indian/Indigenous Teacher Education Conference in Flagstaff, AZ.
The event is for preschool, K–12, Tribal, college, and university educators, as well as concerned community members. It includes panels, workshops, and papers to share ideas for improving the lives and education of American Indian children, especially regarding the revitalization of their Indigenous languages and cultures.

This year's 9th Annual IAIE Summit will focus on updates to the Yazzie/Martinez case and will detail the April 29, 2025 order which tasks NMPED with the responsibility of creating a comprehensive remedial plan. It will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 8 am to 1 pm at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Silver/Turquoise Room.
