All EFNEP education occurs in series, meaning a community of clients attend classes together multiple times and are able to graduate with greater self-sufficiency, well-being, and nutritional health. The EFNEP community outreach program operates out of the 1862 and 1890 Land-grant Universities (LGUs) in every state, the District of Columbia, and the six U.S. territories – American Samoa, Guam, Micronesia, Northern Marianas, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences is an engine for economic and community development in New Mexico. ACES academic programs help students discover new knowledge and become leaders in environmental stewardship, food and fiber production, water use and conservation, and improving the health of all New Mexicans.
