Without the Frills: Poetry Reading & Book Signing with Gigi Bella

We hope you come and join us for poetry, reading, refreshments and of course engage with our local artists and students. As we start Hispanic Heritage Month and we are honored to celebrate our culture and our community voices.

Today we traveled to Northern NM to Dixon, NM for Professor Levi Romero’s Field School. Our Department Admin. Antoinette Rael spoke in class today on Northern New Mexico memories and traditions of Los Hermanos Penitentes.

Today concluded our Summer ISEE Institute for 2026, we are truly thankful to our educators in the community. Coming together and learning from one another is crucial to our learning; it’s important that we make space for those that are teaching and remembering that they are giving it their all. We are honored to have all of them with us this week.
