Our schedule for Fall is not yet finalized, but here’s what the lineup looks like so far!

•Video Game Club returns! Now on Monday afternoons
•O12-Teen Community will continue to meet on Thursday Night
•Park Club returns on Fridays

With Zine Club and Crochet Club in the works.
There’s still a lot of room for more activities in the schedule.

Free To Program is currently on Hold at this time due to low attendance.

Hey Community!

We’re working on finalizing clubs for the fall, but we could use your support to make this semester a success!

A big piece of our transition to Agile Learning Center with Sociocratic governance is community ownership and participation.

•Parent Advisory Circle
•Conflict Resolution Circle

The sky is the limit on what we can do together as a community! We can organize field trips, invite guest speakers or specialty teachers, hold events and groups big and small around any interest or milestone. So bring your ideas and/or your willingness to help. I am excited to see what this new dynamic can do for our community.

Join us for STEAM based learning Wednesdays 9:30 am and 11 am for free at our storytime in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language followed by arts and crafts. Music Educator, Maryse Lapierre, brings storybooks to life with songs, fingerplay, and movement. This award winning programming is designed for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

August's Theme: Exploring Balloon Museum Exhibits

August 5 - Smokey Bear Exhibit and Smokey Bear Birthday Celebration
Join us as we showcase the Smokey Bear exhibit and learn about the importance of fire prevention. Come help us celebrate Smokey Bear’s 82nd birthday!

August 12 - Early Ballooning Exhibit
Take part as we learn the story of the first passengers to ride in a hot air balloon!

August 19 - Canopy of Color Exhibit
Come learn about the history of ballooning and why Albuquerque is known as the “Balloon Capital of the World!”

August 26 - Balloons Over Route 66 Exhibit
This week we will highlight the mural exhibit developed by local artist, Jessy Sandoval, along with 43 student artists in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Route 66!

Science is all around us. The trees and plants growing in our yards, the bread baking in our kitchens, the birds passing through on their yearly migration, slime making, the moon moving through it's phases, the electricity in our homes, last night's thunderstorm—it's all science!

Operation Cooldown is back in Albuquerque this week, bringing free midday heat relief to neighborhood parks across the city.

The program activates park sprinklers at select locations during extreme heat days, giving residents a place to cool off outdoors.

Sprinklers will run from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the following parks:

Story Tables is a table top role playing game group that uses our space throughout the year. Similar to DnD and other role playing games, you create your player and go on an adventure through the Isles of the Myst
