SWSOF runs a filmmaking and acting, summer camp for teens in Albuquerque, NM.

We are closing the filmmaking and acting summer camps :(

Hello students and parents, after three years of holding the SWSOS Filmmaking and Acting summer camps, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue them. As the organizer, I have decided to focus my attention elsewhere for the time being.

A huge thank you to all the parents and to the students who attended the summer camps throughout the years. You all made them such an amazing experience for everyone. There were some truly incredible short films that came out of this and many friendships made that will last a long time. I hope the passion I saw on display will carry on into the future through these young artists work!

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to chat! You can email me directly.

All the best,

Congratulations to this summer's filmmaking students for completing their films!

This year we had two sessions of the camp, with 30 students total, and screened nine completed short films to a packed house at the Violet Crown in Santa Fe.

We are so proud of the filmmakers and the films they created this year!

We are excited to be featured in the Santa Fe Reporter this week!

"Not all of us prospered in the Scouts, but perhaps if we had boom mics, fancy lighting setups, and glamorous film premiers instead of pine box racers and knots, we could've have been a little more excited."
