New Mexico Youth Count and Housing Survey

We're doing another Youth Count and Housing Survey, this time across Southern and Eastern New Mexico! It has been amazing connecting with so many different communities. Come say hello when we're in town - we have free snacks and water at all of our events! And if you're 15-25 years old take our survey and have your voice heard!

Now that our needs assessment analysis is done, here's a summary! See our goals for this important work, a few key findings, and recommendations going forward!

Racial minorities are significantly overrepresented in our unhoused population. It is so important that we listen to their stories and make changes to decrease this inequity!

Youth homelessness is a huge issue all over. The first step to counter this problem is to reach out and listen to the experiences and needs of these youth. That's what we are doing with our New Mexico Youth Count and Housing Survey event this Friday!

Our next round of data collection is coming up! This Thursday, Sept 16-Saturday, Sept 18, our data collectors will be out conducting surveys. If you’re between the ages of 15-25, keep an eye out for us! Stop in and say hello, take a survey, and earn $10.
