ECHS Vocational Program

ISO: building materials. If anyone has any leftover building materials that could be used in the vocational classes at ECHS please reach out to me on here. Items we are specifically looking for include a 30” x 80” pre hung door, can be interior or exterior, new or used; drywall; siding; trim - interior and exterior; shingles. We would also consider other items if we have storage for them. Thanks in advance!

Just a quick update on some of the things we have been accomplishing lately in class! HVAC has completed our electrical training boards that show the basic controls of an HVAC system! Beginning Construction has been hard at work knocking out Christmas trees! Construction Trades dismantled a building on site to be rebuilt at a different location! Beginning Electricity just completed wiring single and 3-way switches!

The ECHS Vocational Program will be selling these Wooden Christmas trees as a fundraiser for the program! If you would like to get one for your home we will be set up tonight at football tailgate with a sign-up sheet. The Beginning Construction class is building these! All information on them can be found at the table at the tailgate.

Students in Construction Trades built a functional lab space in our shop! Beginning Electricity has begun the rough wiring of the room!

In one of our school improvement projects Beginning Construction refinished all the benches at the football field.

When starting a new program in a new space the first order of business was to build workbenches for the shop! Construction Trades built 2 of these to provide a workspace for Vocational Students!

Students in Beginning Construction completed the 1 board challenge using techniques we have recently been working on in class. They students were given 1 board to build a project under budget.
