Last week, 22 students from PBSV 101 visited Detroit and participated in Life Remodeled's Six Day Project. They spent the afternoon clearing three blighted properties. Thanks to Ted Everingham, '61, for connecting us with this organization!

Join us tonight (Sep. 28) for the David Aldrich, '75, Lecture in Law, Justice, and Society. This year's speaker is Samuel Bagenstos, the Arlene Susan Kohn Professor of Social Policy at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and the Frank G. Millard Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School. His talk, "The Power of the Purse in Crisis," is at 7:00 pm in Bobbitt Auditorium.

Intro to Public Service has been on the road in Albion! Last week we visited City Hall and heard from Councilwoman Lenn Reid and City Manager Dr. Sheryl Theriot. This week we stopped by Stirling Books and Brew and heard from business leaders Jim and Staci Stuart, Caroline Hurteau, and Jenny Risner-Wade. Thank you to all of our wonderful guest speakers!
