Day 3 of STEM week was full of explosive fun. Mr. Nelson shared a message out of the scripture about the Holy Spirit being a consuming fire. He gave a Dragon Fire demonstration. In the afternoon, the school watched a watermelon explosion. We ended the day with a puppy visit. Learning can be FUN.
What will Mr. Nelson do for STEM week in Chapel today?
Day 2 of STEM week was all about Engineering. Alumni and Board Member Brennan Sherman brought in a 3D printer and showed everyone how it works. LTR - 6th grade made their own Foosball games. It was neat to see them design them with great team work. 7th - 12th grade designed Ships that could float. Coins were added for weight to see what they could hold before sinking.
Mrs. Beck's LTR - 3RD grade door is too cute not to share. "If I was President I would..." 🇺🇸
