Gerald Collins “Jerry” age 72 of Prescott Valley, AZ, formerly of Albion, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at his home in Arizona. He was born January 29, 1947 in Albion the son of James and Rosa (Smith) Collins and they preceded him in death. Jerry was a very talented guy in many ways, but one talent was that of a Bass musician, although he played guitar also. He received his first guitar in his teens and loved to play music, playing in bands across the country and also played with various other talented musicians including Gene Watson, Johnny Paycheck, Johnny Russell and many more. The latest style was Country Western, but he could play all kinds. He was also a talented body shop guy, owning several of his own shops in multiple places. He could turn a junk heap into a prized possession.
