Northwestern School District Northwestern School District is a small, rural, public school district based in Albion, PA. The district borders Lake Erie and the state of Ohio.

Northwestern School District encompasses approximately 122 square miles in the northwestern corner of PA, bordering Lake Erie and the state of Ohio. The district serves residents in Albion Borough, Cranesville Borough, Platea Borough, Conneaut Township, Elk Creek Township, and Springfield Township. Three of our school are situated on a scenic 84-acre campus in Albion, Northwestern Elementary Schoo

l (K-5), Northwestern Middle School (6-8) and Northwestern High School (9-12). The Albion campus is also home to the historic one-room Valley School. The district includes one more school located in East Springfield, PA. Springfield Elementary School (K-5) provides a neighborhood school for children residing in the northwestern part of the District.

Would your family benefit from FREE GROCERIES throughout the school year?

The Wildcat Pantry is growing for the 2026-27 school year and between September - May, at minimum 40 families are eligible to receive free food each month. Bagged items include food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks...as well as personal hygiene items like soap, body wash, shampoo, deodorant and more.

The process is simple: follow the link and provide your student's information. The Wildcat Pantry will work with the guidance office to deliver food to students in a discreet way. One sign up is good for the entire year, and also registers for your family to receive Tracksgiving food, which provides extra meals to get your family through an extended Thanksgiving break.
