Huge congratulations to our awesome AHS art students who placed in the ARTS Works All-County Art Show! Their creativity, dedication, and countless hours of hard work truly paid off. We’re so proud of their accomplishments and the passion they poured into their art!

Raymon was also honored as the very first recipient of the Kamryn heART Award! Created in memory of Kamryn—a young artist who reminded us that art is about heart, connection, and joy—this award celebrates students who express their true selves through creativity. We're so proud of him for carrying Kamryn’s beautiful legacy forward!

It's that time again! Time to register for classes next school year!

For AHS students interested in taking art...
The sign-up sheet and applications are now available to take Art for the 2025-2024 school year. See below for more information:

Incoming 9th graders need to fill out an application to take Art I. Contact Ms. Armstrong at Albertville Middle School or Ms. Frazier at Albertville High School for more information and an application.

Current Albertville High School students wishing to take Art I can see Ms. Frazier in the art room for the sign-up sheet. There is no application for students who fall into this category.

Students wishing to take Art II, Art III, & Art IV must apply to be considered for the class. See Ms. Frazier in the AHS Art Room for an application and more information.

Students must sign-up and/or turn in their application by Monday MARCH 17, 2025 to be considered for class. No applications will be accepted after this date! Students will be notified in late April if their application is accepted.

Art Classes must be taken in sequence, Art I, Art II, Art III, then Art IV.

Congratulations to AHS Art IV student Mayra Garcia! Mayra was recognized yesterday at the ACS School Board Meeting for placing in the Alabama Association of School Board's Diamond Legacy 75th Anniversary Student Art Contest. Mayra's art titled, "Our Educational Leaders will Light the Way" won her Second Place!

Congratulations to one of our advanced art students, Jasmine Meicke! Jasmine won First Place in her division and Best of Show in the art competition at the Dekalb County V.F.W. Fair. Her piece was a sculpture that was part of an assignment for art class.
