2026-2027 Preview Night is in the books! We had a wonderful time reconnecting after a restful summer, and welcoming our new GCCA families.

We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with AKA and enjoyed helping with the tournament! What a blessing!

Last night we had a special moment where we got to deliver a check to Grace Classical Christian Academy, our recipient organization for this year's tournament!

Between the spectator fees collected and contribution from the tournament proceeds, we were able to give $2,000 to the academy!

Shihan Matt Roeder with Albertville Karate Academy and Mrs. Tiffany Hollowell from GCCA is pictured, along with Kainin Willmore, representing Willmore Total Fitness 24/7 - Albertville (and all of their other locations!) as our Black Belt Sponsor for the tournament. Also pictured is AKA student Mason Burson, along with his parents, John Paul and Emily Burson. Mason is a student at Grace Classical and Mr. John Paul was the tournament MC while Emily was with other parents and faculty of the academy in scorekeeping.

We thank all of those involved with the tournament, especially our sponsors! Thank you to Willmore Total Fitness 24/7 - Albertville and the whole family for their support of the martial arts community and dedication to helping the community achieve their fitness goals and healthy lifestyle!

We are thrilled to celebrate with Karen Travis, our dean of teaching and learning, at her graduation ceremony held during CiRCE’s annual conference in Charleston, SC. Karen is now officially a master classical teacher after completing the three-year apprenticeship program. Congratulations!
