Students in Physical Science class put physics into action with our Roller Coaster Performance Assessment! Working in small groups, students designed, built, tested and analyzed their own marble roller coasters while exploring how potential and kinetic energy transformed throughout the ride. From creating a scaled design to calculating energy, velocity, and acceleration, students got to be engineers and physicists all in one project!
