💙💛 EXCITING NEWS FOR ALBERTVILLE FFA! 💛💙

We are incredibly proud to announce that Albertville FFA has been named a ⭐⭐⭐ 3-Star Chapter in the 2026 National Chapter Award Program!

This recognition from the National FFA Organization honors chapters that work to grow leaders, build communities, and strengthen agriculture through their Program of Activities.

Being named a 3-Star Chapter is the highest rating a chapter can receive, and our students will be recognized on stage at the national level at the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis! 🇺🇸🌽

This accomplishment belongs to our FFA members, officers, advisors, parents, school, community partners, and supporters who continue to show up and help make Albertville FFA what it is. We couldn’t do what we do without you!

We are so proud of how hard our students have worked and how much our chapter continues to grow. From serving our community to developing leaders and promoting agriculture, Albertville FFA is making an impact!

Another great day of leadership training for our Albertville FFA Officers as we continued today with the North District COLW, proudly hosted by Albertville FFA!

I couldn’t be more proud of this group and the way they represented our chapter throughout the week.

A huge congratulations to Saddler and Hudson, who both earned Star Member honors for having the best delivery of their Opening Ceremony parts. Well deserved!

Chandler also received a special shoutout for being the group’s “Mr. Smarty Pants” (in the best way possible!). The district officers were impressed with his knowledge and ability to answer questions throughout the conference.

To top it all off, our chapter was named STAR CHAPTER for the North District! 🏆 Our officers proudly brought home the traveling trophy—a float signed by all of the North District and State FFA Officers.

These accomplishments are a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and leadership these students have poured into our chapter. We are incredibly proud to serve as their advisor’s and can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes this year.

Our 2026-2027 Albertville FFA Officer Team kicked off the new year with a little team bonding today!

Before our adventure began, we stopped at Five Guys Burgers and Fries for lunch. Surprisingly, I don’t think any of the officers had ever eaten there before, so it made for a fun first experience!

From there, we headed to the Tennessee Aquarium, where we spent the afternoon exploring everything from colorful fish and playful otters to penguins, butterflies, and even lemurs. It was a great day filled with laughs, conversations, and making memories together. Of course, no road trip is complete without ice cream, so we wrapped up the day with a sweet treat before heading home.

The fun doesn’t stop here! Tomorrow we’ll begin developing our Program of Activities (POA), and on Wednesday we’ll host one of the North District’s Chapter Officer Leadership Workshop (COLW), where we’ll continue building our leadership skills and preparing for the year ahead.

I’m already excited about this group of officers. They have formed such a strong bond in a short amount of time, genuinely enjoy being together, and are already showing the teamwork and leadership that will make this a great year for Albertville FFA. I can’t wait to see all they accomplish together! 💙💛

Albertville is coming home with the state wins!
At the 98th annual Alabama State FFA Competition, Convention & Expo Albertville had 28 students across 8 teams make it to the state level. This is already an incredible feat to accomplish. These teams are the best in the entire state and ours fought hard. Out of our 8 teams we are bring home state banners in the following:
🎗️Agriscience Fair - 1st
🔨AG Construction - 2nd
🎗️Agriscience Fair - 3rd
💬Discussion Meet - 3rd
🌸Floriculture - 3rd
🌳Nursery Landscape - 3rd
🐟Aquaculture - 4th
🇺🇸National Chapter - Silver

We also fought hard and it’s worth celebrating:

We could not have achieved this without the support of our parents, admin, community, and especially to our 4 advisors, who push these students everyday to get out of their comfort zone and strive for excellence in their competitions and the Albertville FFA program. We are grateful for our teams and officers and how passionate they are about FFA. These are the future leaders of our communities and we couldn’t be more proud of what they have accomplished this year!

Today was an exciting day for the Albertville FFA!

Our students and advisors left Albertville this morning at 8:50 AM and headed south to begin our State FFA Convention and Competition journey. 🚐💙💛

Our first stop was the fisheries facility at E.W. Shell Fisheries Center, where students had the opportunity to tour the facility, learn about a variety of fascinating fish and aquatic species, and see firsthand how aquaculture operations are managed. One of the highlights of the day was getting to witness—and even help seine—one of the catfish ponds. It was a hands-on learning experience that had our students fully engaged and excited.

We also had the opportunity to visit the Agriculture Department at Auburn High School Agriculture Department and tour Mrs. Faulks’ outstanding aquaculture program. It was inspiring to see another successful program and gather ideas that can benefit our students back home.

After a full day of learning and exploring, we made it safely to our hotel and are heading out for dinner before settling in for one final study session. Tomorrow is competition day, and we couldn’t be more proud of these students and the hard work they’ve put in to get here.

Please keep our Albertville FFA members in your thoughts as they compete tomorrow. We are excited to see their hard work pay off! 💙💛

We just received the results, and the Albertville Aquaculture Team placed 4th in the State! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of this team. We had to bring in a new team member after one of our original members had a scheduling conflict, and everyone stepped up to make it work. This achievement was truly a collaborative effort from start to finish.

When Mrs. Little stepped back following the loss of her mother, she focused on family during a difficult time. Mr. Mayo stepped in, took the reins, and worked alongside the team to help them achieve a Top 4 finish in the state.

This is what a great program is all about—supporting one another, adapting when challenges arise, and working together toward a common goal.

We’ve earned one state banner… now let’s go after the other six next week! 💙💛🏆
