Thanks to our kindergarten student artists, the walls of my office are bright and cheery again. Thank you Mrs. Bauman for helping our students realize their artistic abilities and thank you Bella, Ella, Richy and Blake for your wonderful artwork.

Today was the day! Mrs. Totzke, Miss Hanson, Mrs. Leistico, and Mrs. Christiansen’s classes all threw pies at me today because they were the top fundraisers during our recent school fundraiser. Our school raised over $19,850! Thank you students, families and staff for your generous support of our school.

What an amazing day! Our kindergarten students toured the Albertville Fire Department today. Students learned about fire safety, the number to call in an emergency, what to do if there is a fire where they live and that a fire fighter with all his/her equipment on is not scary. We can’t thank the Albertville Fire Department enough for opening their station to us and making it an excellent experience.

STMA Superintendent Foucault and STMA School Board member Taylor Klemmenson met with a group of kindergarten students as part of our Superintendent/Student forum. Students shared what they like best about kindergarten, what could make the kindergarten experience better and how safe they feel at Albertville Primary. Thank you Erin, Aubrey, Cash, Brigham, Avery, McKenna, and Bobbie for representing your fellow kindergarteners! And thank you Dr. Foucault for listening to our students’ perspectives.

It looks like I am going to get “pied” again this year! We made our fundraising goal. We raised $19,850! Thank you kindergarten students and families for your support. Well done!!!!

What an amazing Fun Run today! Thank you to all of the families that were able to attend and cheer on their kindergarteners during the color run. And thank you to everyone that was able to donate to our fundraiser. We appreciate your support!

In September, Albertville Primary students and staff focused on the Character Strong trait of ‘Respect’. The students learned that being a good listener helps us show Respect to other people and treat them with care. Students were challenged to think about how they can show respect to friends, family, and at school. One student from each Kindergarten classroom was the recipient of this award. The students were presented with an STMA Character Strong bracelet, a certificate, and a treat coupon for Culvers. Congratulations!
