We had the opportunity to attend a Childcare Provider Appreciation Event at the Governor’s Mansion!!

Thank you to Governor Josh Stein for recognizing the importance of early childhood and listening to the needs of providers and families.

He has created a North Carolina Task Force on Child Care and Early Education. The task force seeks to identify solutions to expand access to affordable, high-quality child care and early education across North Carolina and to support and grow the child care workforce.

Thank you Stanly County Partnership For Children for the invitation. It was a privilege to attend.

The school age room will be open if school is out.

After careful consideration of current and forecasted weather conditions, Little One’s will be closed on Monday January 26, 2026.

This decision was made with the safety of our children, families, and staff in mind. We will continue to monitor conditions and share updates as necessary.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — a leader who believed in the power of community and service.

His message reminds us that every person has a voice, every action matters, and every act of kindness helps build a stronger future.

As we are rooted in learning and growth, we encourage our little ones to lead with compassion, stand up for what is right, and make a positive difference wherever they go.
