Today marks 25 years since the world changed forever. ITS honors the lives lost on 9/11 and the brave heroes who risked everything to serve in the aftermath.

In recognition of this milestone, a team of dedicated ITS employees are participating in the Capital Region Tunnels to Towers Climb at the Corning Tower in Albany on September 20. Participants will climb 809 steps to the 42nd floor of the Tower in honor of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, as well as in support of first responders and military members. Donations are still being accepted to support the team and their efforts.

When tragedy strikes, a common refrain is, “Look for the helpers.” At ITS, action speaks louder than words, and our people are proud to support their communities through volunteering, supporting local charities and aiding neighbors. https://runsignup.com/nysits

Today, ITS Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer Dr. Eleonore Fournier-Tombs addressed members of the NYS Business Council, providing expert insight into the three pillars of AI in government: education, innovation and governance. She elaborated on how NYS can be technology leaders in the AI sector, turning pilots into production and deploying AI tools safely and responsibly at 50+ State agencies. She also discussed maximizing the benefits and minimizing the risk of these tools, as well as how to measure both the impact and success of their use.
