The DCSS School Nutrition Staff attended the GSNA Annual Conference in Augusta, GA, in 2024, which offered numerous activities and educational sessions to enhance our School Nutrition Program.

Our very Mr. Bradley Patterson of Monroe High School is representing Dougherty County at the National School Nutrition Legislative Conference in Washington DC!
Thanks Mr. Patterson for all you do in supporting our School Nutrition Staff.

GSNA members are kicking off the School Nutrition Association Legislative Action Conference in a Southeast Regional Meeting, led by our own Bradley Patterson of Monroe Comprehensive High School! Bradley is the Southeast Representative of the national SNA Public Policy & Legislation Committee. 🇺🇸

While in Washington, D.C., we will directly advocate for funding and support of our school nutrition programs, which are vital for the success of so many students in Georgia. On Tuesday, we will meet with Members of Congress to discuss the issues that directly affect our school districts.

We are speaking on behalf of our students and our teams back home!
