๐ŸŽค Exciting scholarship in action!

Dr. Ken Levine recently presented at the Central States Communication Association conference in Minneapolis, sharing research that dives into the experiences of first-generation college students navigating the workforce.

His paper, "Internships as a Source of Vocational Anticipatory Socialization: Examining the Differences Between Part-Time Jobs and Professional Internships for First-Generation College Students," co-authored with Melinda Aley, explores how different work experiences shape career readiness and expectations.

This work highlights the critical role internships can play in bridging opportunity gaps and helping students build meaningful professional pathways.

๐Ÿ‘ Congratulations to Dr. Levine and Melinda Aley on this impactful contribution!
