West Town School Improvement Plan Meeting. Administrators, faculty, and staff gave useful feedback to help guide us into next school year.

5th graders were able to choose any teacher out of the whole building for the statement they read. Thank you teachers for the impact you’ve had on our students.

Bringing learning to life !!! In Science, Kindergartners reviewed a lesson about plants and animals(insects). Students explored butterflies in an audiobook. They were tasked to write a personal narrative and draw a picture showing what they wrote about.

Ms. Davis invited Mrs. Whitfield-Thomas’ class over to see their live butterflies that hatched overnight from their cocoons. Two 2nd grade scholars shared what they learned about butterflies in their Science class. The students were amazed.

West Town kindergartners celebrated meeting their Lexile goals with a visit to Fun Park. Keep up the good work, Wildcats!

West Town celebrates Mrs. Weston's retirement. Mrs. Weston's years of service and dedication to student learning is unmatched. Congratulations Mrs. Weston. We wish you the very best.

Tonight's celebration honored Mrs. Myra Weston upon her retirement from WestTown Elementary School, acknowledging her invaluable service and years of dedication to the Dougherty County School System.

Former Wildcats came back to walk the West Town hallways before graduation! We are so proud of our former students and wish you the very best in life! Congratulations on your graduation, Wildcats!

Thank you to Omega Psi Phi Fraternity for always supporting our students! Today, some of our students were able to celebrate with an exciting water day filled with slides, fun, and so much more! We truly appreciate you, Coach Massey, for always showing up for our students and making moments like this possible. Even our staff got a little wet too haha! 💦🎉
