Please read this mesaage that Principal Paolino asked us to share and assist if you can:

It is with deep sadness that I share some heartbreaking news. [Monday] morning, the home of a Hackett 8th grade student was destroyed as a result of a house fire. This incident unfortunately resulted in the tragic loss of life for several members of the family, including three children and two adults. Our 8th grade student was present at school at the time of the fire. This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts go out to the family during this devastating time.

As a school community, we want to come together to offer support to the family. We are organizing a donation drive to assist the family with immediate needs such as clothing, household items, and essentials.

Anyone wishing to support the family can provide either a cash donation and/or bring in available clothing. All donations can be brought to the main office. In terms of clothing, the family could benefit from the following sizes at this moment. We hope to have more specific sizes over the next few days.

Men's Adult XL and # # Tops
Men's XL Pants or 38/30 pants
Women's 20 pants
Women's Adult XXL Clothing
Men's Size 10 and 13 shoes
Women's Size 8 and 10 shoes
