Holy Family School in Albany is seeking a Part-Time Art and Physical Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

This combined teaching position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping elementary students grow through creativity, movement, teamwork, and healthy activity. Our Preschool through 5th grade school offers small class sizes, a supportive faith-filled staff, and a Christ-centered environment where every child is encouraged to reach their God-given potential.

Applicants should have a current Minnesota teaching license, a bachelor’s degree, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively with students and staff.

It took just 2 1/2 hours for this crew, plus a few unloading off-site, to remove all of the remaining boxes and furniture from the school this morning!! A huge thank you to Doug Legatt, Ben Nelson and Kolby Schindler at “We Haul For You” for bringing their efficient and hard working staff to get the job done. That group worked nonstop and never slacked at all!!

Thanks also to Dean Mitchell for organizing the day, and the following for coming in to help: the Michael and Judy Gondringer family, Aaron Goebel, the Jordan and Crystal Sanoski family, Adam and Ely Blenker, Bennet Kroll, Phillip Brix, teachers Mr. Sopcyk, Mrs. Herdering and Mrs. Neidermeier-Gill, and Mrs. Tina and her husband, Steve VanHeel.

Our fourth graders had a wonderful day at the Middle Sauk Water Festival last week Thursday! Students rotated through interactive, hands-on learning stations focused on water quality, natural resources, watersheds, and more.

It was a fun and educational experience that gave students the chance to learn more about caring for God’s creation and the world around them.

Thank you to all the staff, presenters, and volunteers who helped make the day such a great experience for our students!

Our 2nd and 3rd graders had a wonderful field trip to safarinorth_wildlifepark in Brainerd on Monday!

Some of the biggest highlights of the day included seeing the tigers, watching the ostriches follow alongside the train ride, and feeding the giraffes. It was a fun day filled with learning, laughter, and great memories for the students.

A big thank you to our teachers and chaperones for helping make the trip such a great experience for the kids!

Last Wednesday, the 4th and 5th graders had a wonderful field trip to St. John’s! We were blessed to tour the campus with Father Edward, along with several others from St. John’s who shared their time, talents, and knowledge with us throughout the day. A big thank you to all of them, as well as our teachers and chaperones!

Students had the opportunity to see the wood shop where organs are made, tour the sports fields (and even run the 1/4 mile track), explore the prairie land, visit the Abbey, see the St. Peregrine relic, pray midday prayers with the monks, and learn about the St. John’s Bible.

It may have been a chilly day, but it was a memorable and wonderful experience for everyone!

What a beautiful night for the HFS Color Run! Whether participants ran or walked, it was great to see so many students, families, and supporters come together for a fun evening.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success, including those who organized it, registered, participated, donated, and sponsored the event. Your support and generosity mean so much to our school community!

We are grateful for another great HFS event and all the memories made along the way!

We may be a little late, but we couldn’t let Appreciation Week pass without saying a huge thank you to all of the amazing people who help make Holy Family School such a special place.

Thank you to our teachers, staff, faculty, admin assistants, principal, custodians, lunch staff, and everyone who gives their time, care, and energy to our students each day.

This year has brought a little extra excitement and commotion with all of the construction happening at school, and we are especially grateful for the flexibility, patience, and positive attitudes everyone has shown through all the changes and adjustments along the way.

The work you do, both seen and unseen, makes a difference every single day. Thank you for all you do for our students, families, and school community. We are truly blessed by each of you.

Our 4th and 5th graders had the opportunity to help clean the church pews this week.

They worked hard, had fun, and took pride in helping care for our church. A big thank you to the ladies who worked alongside the students and helped teach them along the way. We are grateful for your time and example!

On Wednesday, our 4th graders did a wonderful job leading Mass in celebration of Earth Day. They shared a beautiful message about caring for the earth and reminded us that this responsibility goes all the way back to the beginning of creation.

We are so proud of our 4th graders for helping lead Mass and sharing such an important message with our school. Great job, 4th grade! 💙
