Cultivating Resources for Employment with Assistive Technology

To ensure that the devices meet the workforce needs of people with disabilities, they must be developed in collaboration with a person with disabilities. NYSID can connect students and universities with its non-profit association member agencies who are interested in collaborating in the development of assistive technology devices. The NYSID member will become a mentor, helping to guide the students with their ultimate goals and the importance of their work.
