SUNY Albany's Premier Comedy Group The UAlbany Sketchy Characters is the number one situational comedy group on campus.
We do improv, stand-up, writing, filming, and acting for our show on ATV. We have a show every Saturday at 6:30PM showcasing one of our departments. We also have a semester PAC show at the performing arts center.

Some highlights from last semester! 🐧
Hey buds!
Tomorrow night (Thursday) is our first full improvisational comedy meeting of the year! We hope to see you all at 8pm in Campus Center room 375. No prior improv experience is needed. Come do some improv, have fun, and catch up with your favorite Sketchy Characters!
What are you doing tonight? I don't care! Because now you're coming to tonight's very very special collaboration between us and New Paltz's comedy group! Tonight at 6:30 at the Ufood Grill Lounge! Come out for one of the best comedy shows you've ever seen!
I have some bad news. Tonight is our final Saturday Show of the semester! Make sure you guys come out to get your fix of the Sketchies before the year is over. See us at 6:30 PM at the Ufood Grill for some free comedy, good laughs, and happy times.
If you can't make it out tonight, make sure you get your tickets for our PAC Show on Monday night!
Today is Relay For Life at UAlbany! Our group and groups all across campus have been raising money to support the fight against cancer. Stop by the SEFCU Arena here on campus tonight and join us in the fight!
Groups will be performing throughout the night including us. We go on at 12:45 AM. So stay up late with us tonight!
