What an incredible two days at the 2026 SFMI Spring Academy!
We were thrilled to host 70+ attendees and 8 amazing supporters for a dynamic and engaging experience. Attendees split between our Managers Track and Personnel Track, diving into sessions designed to strengthen skills, spark new ideas, and support professional growth.
From insightful discussions to great networking and collaboration, this year’s Academy truly showcased the strength of our community.

On January 21, 2026, Governor Kathy Hochul unveiled her Executive Budget Proposal for State Fiscal Year 2027. The $260 billion budget represents a 0.7% increase over the current year and outlines priorities in education, housing, economic development, and public infrastructure.
